Pigeon Forge is the busy, bright part of a Smokies trip. Most of the attractions line the Parkway (US 441) between Sevierville and Gatlinburg: dinner shows, go-kart tracks, mountain coasters, museums and The Island, with Dollywood just off the main road.
If you only have a day or two, pick one big thing, like Dollywood or a full day at The Island, and fill the evenings with a show. Dinner shows such as Dolly Parton’s Stampede and Pirates Voyage sell out on busy weekends, so book those ahead. Many places post combo tickets and online discounts on their own websites, so check before you pay at the door.
