About CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains (Zipline Tour)

CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains runs a guided zipline tour on a mountaintop just outside Gatlinburg, across the street from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which surrounds the property on three sides. The Mountaintop Zipline Tour lasts about two hours. It begins with a six-passenger UTV ride up a rugged forest trail to the starting platform. From there, guests ride six side-by-side dual ziplines, so friends and family can zip next to each other above the forest canopy. Along the way you will cross suspension sky bridges and enjoy panoramic views of the Smokies before finishing with a controlled rappel from the final platform. All safety gear is included, including a helmet and harness, and every tour starts with a professional safety orientation. Tours are for ages 5 and up and run rain or shine, with adjustments for safety when needed. The course is open year-round and closed on Sundays. Reservations are required, so book ahead, especially on weekends and in peak season.
