About Anakeesta

New in 2026: Anakeesta’s Crystal Express gondola system replaced the park’s original chair lift, and the Firefly Experience opened in June 2026 along the newly expanded Treetop Skywalk with a light show modeled after the synchronous fireflies of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Both are part of the park’s $100 million, five-year “Making More Magic” expansion, and the Firefly Experience is included with admission.
