Alibi is a prohibition-inspired cocktail lounge with Gatsby flair, tucked inside The Coffee Syndicate at Elks Plaza on the Parkway in Gatlinburg. Getting in is part of the fun: find the red rope in front of The Coffee Syndicate, step into line, and the doorman will handle the rest.
Behind the hidden door, Alibi offers what it calls the area’s largest bourbon and whiskey collections, a cellar of old-world wines and carefully crafted cocktails meant to be savored. Guests can come dressed to the nines or simply drop by; as the lounge puts it, every great night needs an alibi. Alibi is strictly for guests 21 and older. It opens in the late afternoon Tuesday through Saturday and stays open late, and it posts public events and private event closures on its online calendar, so check before you go. Parking nearby is limited, and the lounge can also be booked for private events.
