About Tennessee Bible Museum
The Tennessee Bible Museum in Pigeon Forge tells the story of how the Bible was preserved, translated and brought to English-speaking readers. It was founded by Gene and Darlean Albert, who spent decades collecting and interpreting historical Bibles and artifacts. Gene Albert previously served as curator of the Rawlings Foundation Scriptorium at Liberty University before opening the museum. Visits are by one-hour guided tour, offered several times a day, and tours need at least two participants. Group rates are available for groups of more than 12, with a deposit required. The museum also has a bookstore and gift shop and a Butterfly Encounter. It is in a shopping center on East Wears Valley Road, and there are no public restrooms inside the museum. The museum recently announced it is not closing and will remain open. Call for reservations; tour times and prices are listed on the official website.
