About Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf

Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf combines an alpine coaster and a themed 18-hole miniature golf course in downtown Pigeon Forge on Teaster Lane. The coaster is billed as the longest mountain coaster ride in the area: depending on how fast riders go, a trip lasts about 10 to 18 minutes, with four uphill lift sections and four downhill runs. Each cart lets the rider control the speed, and the track glides above downtown Pigeon Forge, passes through tunnels and is decorated with the mischievous Lost Mine bears, who hide along the route. A next-generation safety system is part of the ride, and the coaster runs at night as well. Riders must be at least 38 inches tall, and riders under 54 inches must ride with an adult. The mini golf course carries the mining theme further with interactive features and trick shots, including a creek jump, honey chutes, mine carts and a loop-the-loop. Tee times can be reserved, and coaster and mini golf combination packages are sold. The site also has a gem mine for younger treasure hunters.
