About Sugarlands Distilling Company

Sugarlands Distilling Company makes its spirits in a barn-house distillery in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. When it opened in March 2014, Sugarlands introduced five moonshine flavors. The lineup has since grown to more than 20 products, including Sugarlands Shine moonshine, Sippin’ Cream, High Rock Vodka, Roaming Man whiskey, rum and ready-to-drink cocktails. Visitors can sample the distillery’s award-winning spirits, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the stillhouse, and relax at the back porch cocktail bar, which opened in 2017 and serves moonshine cocktails such as the Maple Bacon Moonshine Bloody Mary. Sugarlands is family and dog friendly, but only guests 21 and older may drink. The distillery is open 364 days a year and closes only on Christmas Day, with tastings and the cocktail bar open daily. It is also a stop on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. Find it on the Parkway in the heart of downtown, within easy walking distance of other Gatlinburg attractions.
